Collaboration with NAFSA
NAFSA: Association of International Educators promotes the exchange
of students and scholars to and from the United States. The association
sets and upholds standards of good practice and provides professional
education and training that strengthen institutional programs
and services related to international educational exchange. NAFSA
provides a forum for discussion of issues and a network for sharing
information as it seeks to increase awareness of and support for
international education in higher education, government, and the
community. NAFSA's membership includes more than 8,000 individuals
from all 50 state and 80 countries.
The Hobsons U.S. Education Guides are the result of a collaboration
between NAFSA: Association of International Educators and Hobsons
to develop the best and highest quality resources for international
students interested in learning about the U.S. higher education
system.
Each guide for students residing in Asia, Europe, Latin America,
and worldwide contains in-depth editorial developed with a NAFSA
advisory board on how to study abroad in America. Additionally,
each guide contains a directory of two- and four-year colleges
and universities and profiles of international students who are
currently studying at a U.S. higher education institution.

Relationship with ETS
Educational Testing Service (ETS), which develops and administers
educational assessments, and Hobsons, which publishes academic
and career information for college students, have developed a
relationship to further our missions of assisting international
students with their education.
Currently, Hobsons and ETS are developing the world's largest
online international student community. The online community will
feature current and relevant information that will help guide
students through the entire international study process. The goal
of the community is to provide a single source where TOEFL test takers,
college applicants, current students, alumni, and international
student recruiters can practice taking the test as well as access
and share information. Stay tuned
for the unveiling of this exciting online community.
